Francesca Beard: How to Survive a Post-Truth Apocalypse
Francesca leads us on an epic adventure through a stranger than fiction underworld of lies, fabrications and “facts”. An epic journey through a landscape of magical lies, Wikipedia ‘facts’ and the stories we tell ourselves. Your host is a sham-shaman, who leads you on a heroic quest.

In a world that down-votes experts and clicks on Donald Trump, Francesca Beard’s new show asks: ‘What is the global cost of make believe?’, ‘Are all humans liars?’ and Can the truth set us free?’

Henry Madd is a live wire spoken word artist who truly fills the room when he performs. Madd cut his teeth on the poetry stages of California before returning to his native England. He now resides in Canterbury where he joined Rough Cut Collective and won the 2017 Wise Words Festival / Apples and Snakes Emerging Talent competition. His work has been described as hilariously honest and deeply moving.
