The Poetry Lounge – October

Hello!

We are Katie and Jess and we’ll be hosting The Poetry Lounge in October.

The night runs from 7:30pm until around 10pm in The Belle Starr Lounge at London's finest pub The Boogaloo (312 Archway Rd, Highgate, N6 5AT). Please note that the venue is fully step free with the best access route is via the right side entrance of the pub.

Most of the night is an open mic space, with slots available for poets to share their work. Each slot is 5 minutes. We would like to hear from new and experienced writers and performers. If it's your first time performing anywhere, we will make sure you feel supported!

Of equal importance to poets, are people who listen! Aka our audience. If you’re curious about poetry, we’d love to have you.

Saving the best 'til last, the final section of the evening will bear witness to our monthly limerick slam. Expect fun, filth and everything in-between.
