Jawdance X Bloomsbury

Jawdance comes to Bloomsbury Festival. This is your chance to own the stage alongside some of the biggest names in spoken word.

An institution of the London spoken word scene, Jawdance comes to Bloomsbury Festival bringing you acclaimed feature acts alongside up-and-coming artists in poetry and music.

The notorious Jawdance open mic is for poets, part-time poets, partial-to-an-open-mic poets, or even I’ve-written-what-I-think-is-a-poem-but-I’m-not-a-poet poets… this is your chance to own the stage alongside some of the biggest names in spoken word.

Our usual host Yomi Sode is back with Den The Tech on the Decks.

More details coming soon…

This event is part of Bloomsbury Festival 2022.

Bloomsbury Festival is an annual celebration of the area’s creativity, presenting an inspiring programme of culture, arts, science, literature, performance, discussion and debate.

This year we have been inspired by the theme of Breathe. The Festival includes over 100 events across 10 days, ranging from hard-hitting creative reflections on the environment to quiet moments of mindfulness.

Head over to the festival website to explore the full programme.

Please note: By booking a ticket you agree to share your data for evaluation and audience purposes with the creative company presenting the event. This permission does not include the right for the creative company to share your data with any other parties.

If there are any restrictions on the presentation of live events at the time of the festival all tickets we will offer a web-stream or online alternative where possible. In this instance all tickets will automatically be transferred to the digital events. If some events cannot go ahead and have to be cancelled refunds will be offered subject to Eventbrite and our box office partners’ terms.
