SPINE: Storytelling workshop: Hom

Storytelling workshop inspired by Jeanne Willis and Paddy Donnelly’s picture book ‘Hom’

Hom is a creature. Not just any creature – there’s no one else like Hom in the whole world! When a boy is shipwrecked on Hom’s island all alone he soon meets Hom and finds out what type of creature he is – a peaceful, kind and generous creature who needs a friend just like everyone else.

Join Cat & Hutch as they use storytelling and drama games to travel to Hom’s island and bring his world to life!

This event is part of SPINE Festival 2022 – venue: Hammersmith Library.

SPINE Festival is for children and families and returns in 2022 for a lite edition!

In 2022, the lite festival’s theme is ‘KINDNESS’ and launches on 3rd March 2022, World Book Day, taking place throughout the month across libraries situated at the heart of London’s communities, both digitally and in-person.

Though it’s lite, SPINE inspires and empowers children, families and communities with a varied programme of workshops and shows across 16 London boroughs.
