2. What inspires you?
Most of my poems are crafted in the moments that I’m not eating (or thinking about eating) plantin. I’m inspired by the way life moves around me and I’m inspired to tell the truth and make it beautiful.
3. Tell us about your worst ever gig?
I once performed at a local council conference. There were three people there. I was one of them. I’m convinced the other two were only there for the sandwiches. My poetry did not woo them from the sandwich station.
4. What’s your number one poetry pet peeve?
The phrase ‘shards of glass’.
5. Whose words do you love at the moment?
I love the words ‘binary’, ‘duality’ and ‘chariot’.
6. What piece of advice would you give to your younger self?

7. What’s one of your favourite memories from the past year?’
My favourite memory of the last year has to be getting to Jamaica after no less than 6 cancellations due to Covid.
