An institution of the London spoken word scene, Jawdance brings you acclaimed feature acts alongside up-and-coming artists in poetry and music.

In November our regular host Yomi Ṣode will take up the mic as headliner, alongside feature sets from Lola Oh and South London rapper and poet brother portrait, plus live band.

The notorious Jawdance open mic is for poets, part-time poets, partial-to-an-open-mic poets, or even I’ve-written-what-I-think-is-a-poem-but-I’m-not-a-poet poets… this is your chance to own the stage alongside some of the biggest names in spoken word. Sign-up on the night from 7pm, if you’re drawn to perform you can get in free next time.
