This free virtual workshop is suitable for ages 5-12 yrs.
It will be based around the theme of Empathy, which will be explored through a combination of poetry and pastel drawings that aim to visualise what empathy looks like.
Everyone who takes part will create a short-form poem that introduces what empathy means to them, alongside a piece of art that will respond to the poem – the outcome can be as colourful, abstract and simplistic as you want it to be! Examples of possible poems and drawings will be provided before the workshop to show the broadness and scope of the kind of outcomes that could be produced.
This is an online Zoom event. You will be emailed the link details on the day before the workshop is due to take place.
