Spoken Word and Rap in Libraries Across Lewisham
Join Apples and Snakes’ eco-‘word’- warriors for a fun-filled 45 minutes of raps, poems, stories & workshops about planet Earth, its creatures, the environment and how we can all help to make sure we keep it green.
Featuring superstar storyteller Jan Blake, playful poets Adam Kammerling (22 Oct only) & Simon Mole (24/29/30 Oct) and rebellious rapper Kenny Baraka.
An interactive performance for children aged 7+
Spin workshop
After the show, Lewisham Poet, Laurie Bolger will run a creative workshop helping even the most reluctant writer produce a poem for the planet. If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to put those thoughts down in a creative way, then this is for you. This is a friendly and welcoming workshop for all.
