Patrick Evans | Spoken Word

Spoken Word Poet. Performer. Educator. Mental health soldier.

Patrick has lived a life of creativity and care most of his life. As a spoken word artist, he has performed around the circuit with a hunger to keep evolving and spread his message with an art form he claims has ‘saved his life’. Patrick is currently creating an EP of his work and looks to publish his poetry in the future. Patrick runs a company and a monthly event called ‘Word Soul’, that is a platform for both established acts and newcomers to take the stage and express their poetic talents. He has collaborated with mental health charity SANE, in his quest to use free expression to remove the stigma of mental health issues and help people speak up. Word Soul has now spread into a workshop platform and recently became a successful online course run by Patrick, where participants from all over the world learned about Spoken Word and Free Expression. This has evolved into in-person workshops that will take place this summer.

The journey continues.
