For the South region of SPINE Lite activities, Southwark is hosting a series of private and public events facilitated by their Poets in Residence and local artists

Events

  • Poetry Thursdays

Come and join poet in residence Arji Manuelpillai as he takes you on the rollercoaster ride of words. Expect to read great poems, expect to write great poems, expect a fun time celebrating the power of the word.

Every Thursday from 28 March – 11 April, 4-5pm, at Una Marson Library

  • Magic and Wonder with Harriett

Join local artist Harriett O’Grady to explore the themes of Magic and Imagination through spoken word, movement and sound. Harriett is a multidisciplinary artist and trained actor, she has previously worked with the National Youth Theatre and regularly runs creative workshops within schools.
