Describe yourself in 3 words…
Humorous, Versatile, Insatiable
What inspires you?
The cliche, yet true answer is life. I find moments inspiring, from insurmountable sadness to boundless love.
Tell us about your worst ever gig?
I once played a gig in a pub to just the sound man, not a single punter entered during the 25 min set. On the bright side, the sound man enjoyed my set (unless he was lying—hmmm)
What’s your number one poetry pet peeve?
When people do their set then leave with their friends. Not listening to any other acts when they could be exposing their friends to others that might be worth listening too.
Whose words do you love at the moment?
Akala, Taika Waititi, Branson Sanderson, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Hollie McNish
What piece of advice would you give to your younger self?
Don’t download World of Warcraft. Never. Don’t do it. It’s a trap!
If you were to write a book about yourself, what would you name it?
Work in progress
